K.D.S is knitting design studio that started business since 1993,and the brand “Kei MACDONALD” had started at 40degrees exhibition in London,UK since 1998.

Now,established designer own workshop
“K.D.S Kei's design studio co,.ltd” based on Tokyo Japan、and hold a exhibition in Tokyo regulary to send approximately fifity of new collection for every per season.

The concept of production is original garments and a unique elaborated design.

Especially,designer takes a lot of time to think about new knitting patterns and motive for every single item.

　Kei MACDONALDは、1997年からスタートし、1998年にニットブランドとして、ロンドンの展示会40Degreesで海外デビューしたニット中心のブランドです。 現在は東京をベースに年2回の合同展に出展しています。

布帛に比べバリーション豊富でオリジナリティーに溢れたニットという素材自体がKei MACDONALDのブランドコンセプトです。
ファブリックのほとんどは、日本・英国羊毛・または英国より輸入した上質な天然素材を使い、鉤針、棒針編み、手刺繍などの“手作り感”を大切に作っています。 また、ニットとカットソーのドッキングや、海外から買い付けた布帛を使いニットを中心にコーディネイトした 提案を考えデザインしています。

一見シンプルに見えるものでもどこかに必ず細心のデザインを施し、一つ一つに手作業を加えているので たくさんは作れません。でも、デザイナーのニットに対する愛情が作品に表れている、そんなブランドです。
